Nashville, TN March 1, 2019 – Prevention Systems, a leading provider of population health management and provider solutions, announced today it had migrated its eDoc4U platform to cloud computing with Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS will provide eDoc4U with increased security and scaling flexibility, and ensure cloud compliance for its clients.
“Our migration to AWS enables Prevention Systems and our related business associates to use the secure AWS environment to process, maintain, and store protected health information in a HIPAA compliant manner,” said Jack Olexy, CTO, and co-founder of Prevention Systems.
Amazon offers the following details as well, “AWS is a secure, scalable, low-cost IT set of applications in alignment with HIPAA & HITECH compliance requirements. AWS offers a commercial off-the-shelf infrastructure platform with industry-recognized certifications and audits such as ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and the Service Organization Control Reports (SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3). AWS services and data centers have multiple layers of operational and physical security to help ensure the integrity and safety of customer data.” Prevention Systems is excited to partner with Amazon as we continue our growth into the delivery of high quality, scalable, and reliable healthcare IT offerings.
Prevention System’s comprehensive preventive care platform, eDoc4U, is built on the Microsoft .Net platform. eDoc4u’s advanced-care SaaS platform reflects extensive efforts by our clinical, behavioral science, and IT teams working with clients and our patient database. As part of eDoc4u’s product evolution, a third-party analyzed patient response frequencies and consistencies to comprehensively evaluate eDoc4u’s usability, assessment efficiency, logic flow, and Health Risk Assessment (HRA) flexibility/utility. New development plans were completed to reflect client requirements, competitive analysis, and market trends, with goals to develop the next generation web service to:
• Improve patient engagement & increase the accuracy of assessment responses
• Enhance client flexibility & customization
• Extend assessment modules & post-HRA programs
As a result, eDoc4u is the most flexible, comprehensive, and engaging SaaS platform available for advanced care. It can be private labeled using specific style guides, content, and language; either pop-up or I-frame configurations establish a consistent user experience. eDoc4u’s enterprise architecture, supported by AWS is fully scalable to support enterprise-level populations.
